From our early roots in the Odenberg group, we have evolved to become a global player, designing and engineering systems for leading food processing companies worldwide.

Our Heritage

Our story began after our Managing Director, John Power, completed an MBO of the Odenberg Dairy business unit from the Tomra group in 2013. With John came a core team of designers, engineers, and industry experts who helped us grow to over 30 people. Power Food Technology is a wholly Irish-owned company that continues to be a family-run business.

John Power, the managing director of Power Food Technology, is the entrepreneurial mind behind the company’s establishment. He leveraged his 25 years of industry experience to create innovative solutions in food processing, starting from the chilling/freezing and dairy division of Odenberg.

Under John’s leadership, Power Food Technology has seen substantial growth. His ability to identify and transform opportunities has been instrumental in the company’s success. “It’s about turning customer challenges into solutions,” he explains. Through his strategic vision and dedication, John has developed Power Food Technology into a thriving enterprise with a strong focus on innovative and reliable solutions.
